2004 / Start of exploration and drilling works at the Šenov 1 well
In 2004, Solca invested in the “Šenov1” well. Due to the depth of the well and the impermeability of the Miocene rocks, contamination is excluded. The supply of this brine was estimated by experts at 300-500 million m3.
2005 / Launch of testing and production of IODICA and IODICA Baby waters
Waters containing natural iodine have gradually crossed regional borders and become a global concern. Their benefits have been enjoyed by residents of countries such as the Baltic States, Turkey, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Germany, China, the USA, the United Arab Emirates and others.
2006 / “IODICA: A panacea in a bottle” – The future belongs to the young
In 2006, a three-month study was conducted in Latvia, which focused on the health of schoolchildren using IODICA waters. The study documented up to a 30% increase in learning and memory performance in the participating students. It also demonstrated a reduction in symptoms of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
2010 / SIAL China

In 2010, IODICA received significant international recognition when it was awarded in the Innovative Product category at the prestigious SIAL China trade fair. This award confirmed its excellence, originality and contribution to the field of functional beverages and nutrition.
2018 / Launch of the nutritional supplement IODICA 100ml and 300ml
By launching the production of the IODICA 100 ml and 300 ml nutritional supplement, we opened a new chapter in the application of natural iodine and moved our vision to a higher level. In 2021, Solca, s.r.o. (Ltd.) received the prestigious Gold Quality Award.
